Liability of KFA
Kenai Fishing Academy®, Kenai Peninsula College, University of Alaska,
and Alaska Christian College, their employees, contractors, etc.,
disclaim any liability for injury, death, personal losses, or for
time or expense incurred. We assume no liability for acts of God,
forces of nature, seasonal fishing restrictions, fire, theft or
other acts beyond our control. All students are required to fill
out a risk acknowledgement form and mail it to KFA the same time
they make their 50% deposit. Failure to complete and sign this form
will result in the cancellation of your reservation and space in
the class—no refunds will be given. KFA reserves the right
to change or alter these classes and trips based upon necessity,
Alaska fishing regulations and season restrictions. If a season
is temporarily closed or suspended during the class, another fish
species will be pursued with the trip(s) equal in value to the original
trip(s).
Please take into account fly-in and walk in fishing trips include walking up to a half mile through forests and wading fast currents. Students must be in relatively good physical condition. Accommodations cannot be made for those who are unable to participate in these activities.
